NIPT Scan
Cell-free DNA (cfDNA) results from the natural breakdown of fetal cells (presumed to be primarily placental). The NIPT analyses cell-free DNA in the maternal blood which can show the likelihood of Down's syndrome (Trisomy 21), Edwards Syndrome (Trisomy 18) and Patau's Syndrome (Trisomy 13). On demand we can also yield an outcome for the gender of your baby, all from a maternal blood sample.

Please note that 4DFREEVIEW is a complimentary option and if your infant's position is not favorable for aesthetic appeals on the day, we can not use a free rescan for this reason. Required to expose lower abdominal area so ideally wear separate garments i. e pants or skirt and top. Consume 0. 5 Ltr (1 pint) clear fluid approx 1 hour before visit time.
